The 1966 state championship football team and six individuals will be enshrined in the Osawatomie High School Athletic Hall of Fame’s inaugural Class of 2025 on Friday, Jan. 10. Joining the 1966 Osawatomie Trojans state championship football team are coach Bill Freeman, Lynn Dickey, Derrick Jensen, coach Rodney Madden, Jeremy Isenhower, and Tayler Soucie Llewellyn.
Unfortunately, the weather has altered our plans for the Osawatomie High School Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony scheduled for tonight, January 10th. Some inductees have arrived from out of town, so we will proceed with recognizing them tonight, beginning at 6:15 PM in the high school auditorium. The public is invited to attend, but only if you feel safe to do so.
For those who can join us, please come and celebrate the inaugural Osawatomie High School Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees! This is a historic moment for our Inaugural Class. It will be an opportunity to meet and hear stories of Osawatomie’s best athletes and teams from our rich past. This is just the beginning of our Hall of Fame! Everyone is invited to join us at 6:15 PM tonight at the Osawatomie High School Auditorium!
